Engineering Application and Integration Administrator

responsible for managing, supporting, and integrating engineering applications within the organization. This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of software tools used in engineering processes, developing integration solutions, troubleshooting application issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance productivity and efficiency.Location:

Hybrid, Plymouth, MNWhat you will do:Application Management:

Administer and support engineering applications such as PLM, CAD, and other engineering toolsEnsure applications are updated, maintained, and properly configured to meet business needsManage user accounts, permissions, and access controls for engineering applications

Integration Development:

Design, develop, and implement integration solutions between engineering applications and other enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, etc.)Work with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure integration solutions meet business needsMaintain and troubleshoot existing integrations to ensure continuous operation.

Technical Support:

Provide technical support to end-users, resolving application-related issues and ensuring minimal downtimeCollaborate with software vendors and internal IT teams for troubleshooting and issue resolutionDevelop and maintain technical documentation, including user guides and troubleshooting procedures

Performance Monitoring and Optimization:

Monitor the performance of engineering applications to ensure optimal functionalityIdentify and implement improvements to enhance application performance and user experience

Training and Development:

Conduct training sessions for end-users on the use and best practices of engineering applicationsCreate training materials and user documentation to support ongoing education and development

Project Management:

Lead or participate in projects related to the deployment, upgrade, or enhancement of engineering applicationsDevelop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budgetCoordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors as needed
