Senior Network Administrator
to join our team. The position may be based in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area, or Chandler, AZ.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Design, install, maintain, and configure L2 and L3 network equipment (routers, switches, etc.)Develop strategic plans for network development and expansion.Coordinate installation of new hardware/software.Monitor network performance to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively utilizing network management systems and tools.Assist with incident management, problem management, and change management tickets.Develop and implement disaster recovery programs.Follow organizational IT security procedures for network setup, installing firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, etc. and monitoring system logs for signs of intrusions.Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot complex network issues.Perform other duties as assigned which may require specific physical abilities.Train and offer guidance/direction to less junior network administrators.Basic Qualifications:An IAT II certificationA bachelor’s degree in a technical fieldA minimum of nine (9) years of related experienceUnderstanding of Network ProtocolsGood communication skillsPreferred Qualifications:Any of the following certifications: CCNA, Agile, ITILClearance Requirements:Must be a U.S. citizenMust hold a TS/SCI clearanceMust be able to obtain DHS EOD suitability; an active EOD suitability is highly desiredPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printerThe person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
