Orlando Health Women’s Institute Center for Fetal Care
is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) specialist that is board-certified and Fetal Care fellowship trained to join our team in the expansion of fetal evaluation, care, and therapy. The team provides comprehensive services with a multidisciplinary approach, to include: Neonatologists, Palliative Care Specialists, Pediatric Subspecialists, Neurologists, and more. With 6+ practice locations, our Maternal Fetal Medicine team is strategically positioned to serve the increasing needs of our diverse Central Florida community.
Established in 2018 with the first fetal open myelomeningocele repair, the Fetal Care program has recently completed the repair of the 50 th
maternal fetal dyad. 2022 marked an expansion of fetoscopic intervention at Orlando Health to include twin-twin transfusion syndrome laser ablation, amniotic band treatment, shunt/stent placement, transfusion medicine, and EXIT procedures.
Program Highlights:
Growing team of 14+ Maternal Fetal Medicine providers, including 2 Fetal Interventionists
Advanced Center for Fetal Care located in Downtown Orlando
Hybrid operating room opening 2025
6+ MFM practice locations located within Downtown Orlando, Lake Mary, Winter Park, Dr. Phillips, Kissimmee, & Clermont
Established OB/GYN GME program of 30 residents
MFMs serve as attending physician in High-Risk OB/GYN Resident clinic, inpatient services, lectures, grand rounds, journal club, and research activities
24/7 support from robust hospitalist OB/GYN group
Integrated team of Advanced Sonographers, RN Care Coordinators, Certified Genetic Counselors, RN Certified Diabetic Educators, and LCSW Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professionals
Development of MFM Fellowship program - Target start 2025
Strong administrative support team that fosters physician autonomy and collaborative clinical decision making
Job Requirements:
Board Certified
Fellowship trained in Maternal Fetal Medicine
Eligible for active medical licensure in the State of Florida
Interest in serving a diverse patient population
Interest in working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world-class patient care
