Lockheed Martin is seeking a Software Quality Engineer Associate for a position in Grand Prairie, TX to develop and maintain Systems and Software Quality Engineering common processes that are aligned with AS9100 Quality Management System, Program, and Customer requirements.What You Will Be DoingResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Developing, modifying, and applying quality principles to the development and use of software and software-based systems for make and/or buy software products.Developing overall operating criteria to ensure implementation of the software quality program according to project, process and contract requirements and objectives.Designing and implementing software development and maintenance processes.Defining audit strategy to ensure compliance to systems/software processes.Designing, specifying, and conducting test methods for software inspection, verification, and validation.Evaluating and analyzing software quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.Ensuring measures meet acceptable reliability standards.Performing software product reviews against contractual, technical and/or process requirements.Reviewing requirement specifications, design documents, source code, test plans and procedures, materials, tools, techniques, and methodologies; performs or directs verification of software requirement allocations, traceability, and testability.Basic Qualifications:STEM or Technical Engineering degree at the bachelors level or higher preferably in one of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.Ability to travel.Ability to obtain a security clearance.Desired Skills:Understanding of Agile tools and processes.Ability to organize and track multiple activities and prioritize tasks based on importance.Ability to review, interpret and apply Drawings and Specifications to determine compliance with requirements.Ability to interpret software design and code (C/C++) to verify implementation of requirements.Effective interpersonal skills, including Team building and Collaboration.Demonstrated Presentation skills.Demonstrated problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills: Presentation and Oral.Security Clearance Statement:
This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
