Data Engineer

The Company provides an unparalleled in-store experience, coupled with online reservations and in-store express pickup.Each day, Jushi team members continue to grow, cultivate, process and manufacture a comprehensive suite of cannabis brands under the names: The Bank, The Lab, Tasteology, Nira + Medicinals and Sèche, which are addressing a wide variety of consumer and patient needs across multiple states.THE OPPORTUNITYThe Data Engineer would be responsible for integrating new data sources with the Azure Fabric existing data Lakehouse. In addition, this individual would require a deep understanding of data architectures, data warehousing, databases, and analytics tools such as Power BI and Fabric.Please note that to be considered for this role, candidates must be local to Boca Raton, Florida.RESPONSIBILITIES:Integrate new data sources as per requirementsCurate data sources using Python and/or SparkSQL and/or T-SQLProficient with data manipulation libraries such as PySpark, Pandas, Dask and PolarsDevelop Power BI dashboards/reportsProactively seek guidance and work with the technical leads to deliver solutions in a timely manner and ability to foster open communication.Proficient in creating complex DAX calculations and measures to support data analysis.Familiar with the API management and methodologyAble to ensure data security and compliance with the latest industry standards.Train and support to end users on using Power BIFamiliarity with technical writing and documentationFamiliarity with DevOps and GitHubFamiliarity with agile project frameworkProficient with Excel and other Microsoft products such as Power AutomateEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelor’s Degree in Informational Technology, Computer Science or related field experience required.Minimum five years reporting and/or data visualization and/or data analytics experiencePrior hands-on expertise with – SQL, Python, Power BI, Azure, FabricExperience in the Cannabis and retail industry would be a plusExcellent organization, time management, and communication skillsStrong quantitative and problem-solving skillsOTHER DUTIES:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
