The Title Curative is responsible for the coordination of all aspects involved with clearing the title clearance process for real estate purchase and refinance transactions. Team members in this role communicate with clients, borrowers, and outside agencies to facilitate all closing issues in a timely manner, consistent with company-defined standards. Team members are expected to update all clients every five business days on all transactions. This is a fast-paced job that requires strong time management skills and organization. Growth potential is endless, as we hire from within first and are growing rapidly as a company.Since we are cloud-based, there is an ability to work from home, once trained. We thrive off of teamwork within this company, so a willingness to help others is a must. A 401K with a 3% company match is available after the first 90 days.Responsibilities
Review title commitments and abstractor search packages to obtain title clearanceSubmit lender-approved documents to the lender to obtain clearance to closeMaintain open communication with team, managers, and clientsReview Corporate Documents and Trust DocumentsMaintain open communication with estate attorneys when requiredOrder mortgage payoff statementsFollow up on tax certs and lien letters with respective municipalitiesPrepare deeds, mortgages, and notesAssign tasks to junior processors as neededReview trust documentsFollow underwriting guidelines and seek underwriter approval where neededField phone calls and emails throughout the workday for all departmentsSend out closing documents to parties who are unable to attend settlementQualifications
Working knowledge of real estate transactions, deed preparation, and closing proceduresClear verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesProblem-solving mindset and the ability to multitaskWillingness to help other team members and assist other departmentsCustomer-first attitudeAbility to work quickly and efficientlyCompensation
