DevOps Engineer
in Boulder, CO. You will be working closely with a team of talented engineers to create and secure on-premise systems in a government development lab, as well as in cloud-based domains and systems on C2S. You will also have the opportunity to grow and sharpen your skills with other talented members of
Centil .What you'll doIf selected for this role, you will work with a DevSecOps team in a lab environment to build and maintain DevOps pipelines, infrastructure, and environments. You will also work with vendors that are developing software applications in support of US Space Force missions, to facilitate integration into the lab environment, automation of testing and deploys, and transition to operational facilities. Our current technology focuses on Rancher infrastructure and implementation of PlatformOne's Big Bang architecture. In this role, you will contribute to all phases of the system lifecycle including design and development, integration, test, and maintenance.Required QualificationsCurrent Secret security clearance or higherUnderstanding of DoD DevSecOps and Agile principlesBachelor’s degree and 8+ years’ professional experience, or 11+ years professional experience without a bachelor's degree5+ years of experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesStrong knowledge of container orchestration, such as Kubernetes, RKE2, OpenShift Container Platform (RHOCP), or Konvoy, with Rancher preferredExperience developing maintainable Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform)Experience in Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration EnvironmentsExperience implementing/maintaining Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) toolsProficiency with Linux operating systems, using RHEL 8 and/or 9Experience with Unix scripting (bash, tcsh, ksh)Experience with repo and workflow tools, such as Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and ConfluenceExperience with cloud monitoring and general cloud experience, preferably AWSAbility to work with diverse sets of vendor development teams, to assist integration and deployment of their products to the environmentDemonstrated experience with security/software supply chain scanningWillingness to work on-site in Boulder, CO 3-4 days per weekPreferred/Bonus QualificationsKnowledge of or exposure to Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) programsExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), GovCloud, and/or C2SUnderstanding of test automation and how to implement GitLab CI/CDExperience with static analysis tools and integrating these tools into a pipeline (Fortify, SonarQube)Experience with infrastructures necessary to support AI/ML applicationsInfrastructure implementation of virtualized hosts in VMWareBasic network understanding and diagnosticsOther Company RequirementsStrong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills. All applicants must be US citizens eligible for a US Government security clearanceExpected Salary RangeDepending on experience and skillset, most candidates will earn between $125,000 and $165,000 per year. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline only.
