Senior Business Systems Analyst - Enterprise Architecture Governance (Remote)

Overview
This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.This position provides operational support and governance as part of the larger enterprise architecture team. Develops advanced solutions and specifications to resolve process issues, which may involve elements of testing and development. Serves as a resource to wider business units or associates and may provide a leadership role for less experienced analysts. This position will support quality control checks, exception consultations, automation recommendation and analysis, metrics and reporting support, and governance process documentation.
Responsibilities
Operational Support – Participates in the enterprise architecture governance processes and overarching SDLC activities within technology. Contributes to the refinement of the governance information architecture and underlying documentation. Facilitates meetings with architecture domain subject matter experts and application owners. Responds to inquiries, ensuring processes run smoothly, and works to continuously improve the end-user experience. Handles escalated and complex process support issues.Data Analysis - Sources, compiles, and interprets data for the purpose of generating metrics and reports. Performs data analysis at an intermediate level, effectively communicating and directing analysis output. May oversee special projects or direct the analytics efforts of the work group.Identifying Requirements – Determines “as is” and “to be” state for existing processes and communicates them through the use of workflow diagrams, reports, project plans, or other forms of documentation. Determines and resolves complex factors that affect system processes. Ensures compliance through monitoring and analysis.Reporting - Enables strategic insight into business systems through reports to senior management. Evaluates systems based on data analysis, user input, and extensive testing. Conveys patterns, problems, and areas of improvement, and develops process enhancements based on results.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operational Support OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Systems Support, Analytics, or Operational Support.General technical acumen, with a focus on application architecture, infrastructure architecture, and platform integration. Knowledge of governance frameworks such as NIST and COBIT. Workflow design. Project Management. SDLC.
