UKG is the world leader in design and manufacturing of timeclocks for workforce management solutions. Our integrated timeclocks are used for tracking time and attendance, as well as for self-service features such as taking time off and checking accruals. These user-friendly devices run on an Android operating system and offer multiple options for card readers and power supply choices for seamless integration into a facility's infrastructure and operations. These clocks are certified for safety and meet EMC compliance to allow them to be sold in more than 100 countries.

About the Role

The Logistics Manager supports UKG's global operations including worldwide sales, manufacturing, service logistics and compliance operations. The primary function of the Logistics Manager is to ensure cost effective and timely transport and processing of trans-border Mexico to U.S., domestic and international shipments to our customers. The Logistics Manager oversees transportation, customs clearance, and brokerage services of finished goods through 3rd party relationships. In addition, the Logistics Manager coordinates and monitors import and export activities to over 100 countries to meet the requirements of U.S. and worldwide customs compliance programs.

•Liaise between Supply Chain Operations, Sales Operations, and Logistics 3rd parties•Analyze, monitor, and report on activities, trends, results, and recommendations related to shipping / export activities•Develop and maintain processes to support country-specific commercial Invoice requirements•Monitor and resolve delivery issues identified through preferred carriers•Serve as freight administrator - Setup user profiles, train and maintain users on corporate freight applications•Serve as focal point and advisor for import / export problems resulting in delayed or seized shipments•Establish, monitor, and revise corporate policy to ensure compliance with export regulations•Maintain shipping matrix and guides for 3rd parties•Obtain and manage export licensing and file appropriate reports to U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security•Communicate with export related authorities, customers and suppliers, in all relevant territories and countries, as necessary to ensure efficient, positive and lawful relations, support, and activities•Provide guidance, information, and advice regarding export regulations and product classification matters to all UKG operations•Supports and documents processes: "Call Tag" for domestic and International credit returns, INCOTERMs, HTS & ECCN, and Commercial Invoices.

Basic Qualifications:

•Minimum 5 years' experience working in a Global Logistics / Export role•Expert knowledge of Export Administration Regulations•Minimum 2 years' experience in Program or Project Management•Knowledge of USMCA trade compliance and requirements•Experience with shipping from a Maquiladora•Experience with ERP ORACLE and / or D365

Preferred Qualifications•Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management•Can be entrusted to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization; Drives process improvements•Acts accountably, from a place of ownership; Works autonomously, with initiative, and proactively; Achieve results through extended team of colleagues and stakeholders•Considered a subject matter expert in one or more of the Basic Qualifications•Proficient in the use of MS Office applications

This position is also eligible for a short-term incentive and a long-term incentive as part of total compensation.
