Primary Purpose:Chimera is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist. The Knowledge Management Specialist will support the management, storage, and distribution of information in support of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) OB-BP programs and operations across the various information platforms and repositories. Support shall have the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office business applications (e.g., Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, Project and SharePoint), virtual collaboration platforms, and other technical software sufficient to meet the needs of their specific position with the ability to learn new emerging technologies as necessary.

Chimera will assist qualified candidate in obtaining Microsoft Power Platform Fundamental (or equivalent) certified.

Job Description/Function:Create a knowledge management framework: Design and implement a knowledge framework within the program. This includes developing processes, protocols, and applications for managing, automating, and storing information, making it accessible, controlling access and capturing new knowledge.Maintain a searchable-knowledge base: Develop and maintain a knowledge base within the Program/ Department.Encourage a culture of knowledge sharing: Promote and foster a collaborative environment that focuses on expertise, training, and communication.Educating team members: After designing and implementing knowledge management systems, KM will be responsible for showing team members how to use them. This may include organizing meetings or special training sessions within the organization.Ensuring the application of business knowledge and industry practices of information management: Conduct regular reviews to ensure that team members are applying organizational knowledge and communication systems to their daily tasks.Ensure Department is aligned with agency KM policies and guidance. Absorb new ideas and implement new policies quickly.Provide SharePoint/document expertise, oversight and control in communications, time management, quality assurance, quality control and management, process development and risk management.Support and deliver internal OB training as needed, including OB-BP Action Officer training.Education/Experience:

Must be Microsoft Power Platform Fundamental (or equivalent) certified.Highly functional with Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Acrobat, and e-mail.Clearance:
