Description
NEW base rates starting at $16.00/hour
Operates mechanical floor cleaners, buffers, vacuums, snow blowers, shampooers, and related environmental service equipment. Wet mops rooms, halls, etc.; shampoos rugs and furniture. Buffs, strips, waxes, and polishes floors. Moves furniture and other heavy objects as desired. Cleans and disinfects all fixtures, floors, mirrors, windows, doors, and walls of bathrooms. Cleans equipment and assists with other cleaning duties as assigned.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
•High school diploma or equivalent
•At least one (1) year experience working as a floor tech, in environmental
Services, maintenance, or a related field
•Pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Essential Functions include:
•Use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 35 pounds independently
•Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
•Ability to speak clearly and hear speech of another person
•Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk for long periods of time
•Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls, use fingers to grasp, move, or assemble very small objects
