Enterprise Architect at CAI in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job ID Number R3180 Employment Type Full time Worksite Flexibility Remote Job Summary Enterprise Architect will work on migrating integrations into Informatica as well as train and mentor current staff on how to leverage the Informatica product to perform data integrations in the future. Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in systems integrations and/or ETL (extract, transform, and load). Job Description We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to work on migrating integrations into Informatica as well as train and mentor current staff on how to leverage the Informatica product to perform data integrations in the future. This position will be full-time and remote. What you'll do + Participate in efforts to define the impact the implementation will have on current Department interfaces + Use subject matter expertise, industry methodologies and best practices to create a plan to migrate current interfaces to begin leveraging more modern technologies such as Informatica + Detail data element inputs and outputs for Department computing assets interfacing with Department of Financial Services. Inputs may include, but not limited to, manual data entry, direct access via scripting solutions, and batch uploads. Outputs can include data extracts, outgoing interfaces, and reports + Design, develop, test, and deploy data integration solutions with a focus on financial data accuracy and integrity + Collaborates with stakeholders and cross-functional teams in the Office of the Comptroller to understand financial data requirements and develop financial reporting data models that can be used for further analysis + Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate data integration tools and technologies, with a focus on financial data security and efficiency + Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data integration solutions + Mentor current staff on best practices for leveraging Informatica tools + Create documentation for financial data integration processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facilitating knowledge transfer within the team + Must adhere to existing development standards and develop detailed source to target technical mapping and specification documents + Ensures compliance with financial data regulations and industry standards + Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical team members to ensure successful implementation of financial data integration projects + Work with reports remediation team to ensure their data requirements for the project are met + Participate in SCRUM meetings including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives What You'll Need Required: + Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems. Work experience can substitute on a year for year basis for the degree. Special consideration will be given to candidates with Informatica certification + Candidate must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in systems integrations and/or ETL (extract, transform, and load). Candidate will be expected to describe multiple past experiences with integration tools such as Informatica and Microsoft SSIS and how they were deployed for a successful outcome + Data Integration experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines with IICS services and Strong relational database SQL analysis knowledge with DB2 on ZOS, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake Data Cloud, Oracle + Data Integration experience working with large volume, multi-formatted delimited flat files, COBOL files with packed decimal values, other file formats + Data Integration experience with Power Exchange Connectors for ZOS + Data Integration experience with FTP, SFTP and Managed File Transfer methodologies + Minimum 3+ years of experience working with IICS/IDMC data integration services like Cloud Data Integration, Mass Ingestion, App Integration, Data Quality, CDGC + Minimum 7+ years of Data Integration and Data Warehousing experience + Strong SQL skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to work in a team environment or independently + Knowledge of Agile Project Management methodologies and practices + Knowledge of the SCRUM Framework Preferred + Data Integration experience building ETL/ELT data pipelines with IICS services and Strong relational database SQL analysis knowledge with DB2 on ZOS, SQL Server, Azure SQL, Snowflake Data Cloud, Oracle + Data Integration experience working with large volume, multi-formatted delimited flat files, COBOL files with packed decimal values, other file formats + Data Integration experience with Power Exchange Connectors for ZOS + Data Integration experience with FTP, SFTP and Managed File Transfer methodologies + Minimum 3+ years of experience working with IICS/IDMC data integration services like Cloud Data Integration, Mass Ingestion, App Integration, Data Quality, CDGC + Minimum 7+ years of Data Integration and Data Warehousing experience Physical Demands + Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards + Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. + Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Reasonable Accommodation Statement If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to or (888) 824 - 8111.
