We welcome candidates who can contribute to the diversity and excellence of our academic community.Description:THIS POSITION IS ON THE OXFORD COLLEGE OF EMORY UNIVERSITY CAMPUS, 36 MILES EAST OF ATLANTA.JOB DESCRIPTION:Oversees all aspects of fleet management for the Oxford College transportation program.Oversees all vehicle purchases and maintenance.Maintains all service and replacement records.Recommends and coordinates service agreements with vendors.Coordinates, monitors, and evaluates performance relative to contract.Collects usage data and provides feedback to the vendors to resolve any issues.Working through Emory Transportation Services, plans service delivery and manages day-to-day operations of contracted bus/trolley vendor that provides shuttles from Oxford to Emory's Atlanta campus; monitors performance and provides feedback.Interviews, selects, and trains transportation staff; establishes performance standards and measures; evaluates staff performance; takes and recommends disciplinary actions.Designs, develops, and oversees transportation routes to improve access and connectivity to the city of Oxford and its surrounding communities.Works with Oxford's Student Involvement and Leadership office to plan, coordinate, and schedule transportation for students enrolled in Oxford's theory practice/service learning courses (TPSL), the Emory Reads program (ER), and the Oxford Service Corps (OSC).Working with the Oxford SGA, coordinates charter bus transportation from the Hartsfield Jackson International Airport at the start of each term and after breaks.Coordinates transportation for campus-wide events, special events, and programs.Coordinates the development and implementation of alternative transportation programs and policies to improve transit connectivity at Oxford College.Analyzes and evaluate Oxford transportation policies and procedures; recommend modifications or additions to improve Oxford's transportation program.Designs, develops, and oversees centralized golf cart program for campus departments.Supports Emory University's transportation management efforts and utilization of related alternative transportation options.Monitors, evaluates, and reports on usage and performance of transportation services and programs.Develops strategic goals and objectives that will improve transportation service to the campus.Serves as a liaison with departments within Oxford and Emory as well as organizations outside the university to promote transportation services.Prepares reports and reconciles monthly invoices for contract services.Handles special projects as necessary.Perform related responsibilities as required.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A bachelor's degree and three years of parking, transportation, customer service or related administrative experience, OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
