**Job Title: Plumber****Job Description**We are seeking experienced plumbers for the Crescent City Highschool new construction project. Candidates must have a minimum of 5+ years of commercial construction experience, specializing in PVC/CPVC pipes with minor copper/brazing/soldering experience being a plus. This is a contract position with a guaranteed duration of 1 to 6 months on-site, with the possibility of extension. **_For quicker response email resume to (Kgraf@aerotek.com)_****Responsibilities**+ Perform commercial plumbing tasks from rough-in to trim/fixture installations.+ Cut and thread pipes accurately.+ Read and interpret blueprints and specifications.+ Proficiently handle rough-ins for above-ground installations, including vents, sewers, connections, and waterlines.+ Complete finish or trim out installations, including toilets, sinks, showers, bathtubs, and hardware.+ Install and repair pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems according to specifications or plumbing codes.+ Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipe to required angles using appropriate tools.+ Study building plans and inspect structures to determine materials and equipment needs.+ Plan and sequence pipe installations.+ Locate and mark positions for pipe installations, connections, passage holes, or fixtures using measuring instruments.+ Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks.+ Assemble pipe sections, tubing, or fittings using various methods including couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvent, caulking, soldering, brazing, or welding.+ Install pipe assemblies, fittings, valves, and appliances such as dishwashers, water heaters, sinks, and toilets.+ Direct helpers engaged in pipe cutting, preassembly, or installation of plumbing systems or components.**Additional Skills & Qualifications**+ Experience with minor copper brazing or soldering is an added benefit.+ Must have own tools.+ Must have PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).**Why Work Here?**Join a team with extensive projects between Gainesville and Jacksonville, providing ample opportunities for professional growth and development.**Work Environment**Work on the new commercial construction of a high school, alongside multiple subcontractors in Florida's summer heat.
