COMPENSATION
Salary Range: Min. $87,951 - Max. $124,834, Grade E
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Subways Resource Management & Administrative Support and is responsible for managing and coordinating the hiring and promotional activities for Subways' managerial, and career and salary positions. This includes but is not limited to maintaining relevant tracking systems, reviewing, and editing various requests for personnel actions.
Serves as the HR liaison working closely with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, and Subways divisional HR liaisons to maintain compliance with HR policies and guidelines. The incumbent will also manage the hiring process for the staffing of direct reports to the Senior Vice President (SVP), Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer, and the Chief of Staff and Organizational Strategy.
The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Office of the SVP to ensure timely processing of executive correspondences, create reports and coordinate other ad hoc requests and special projects for the seamless operation of the office. The incumbent will also research and recommend business process improvements.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Baccalaureate Degree in Business Administration and Five (5) years experience, of which three (3) must have been in a managerial or supervisory capacity
OR
A satisfactory equivalent of education and experience can be considered
DESIRED SKILLS:Knowledge of HR/LR procedures.Knowledge of the hiring process.Excellent computer skills, particularly database and spreadsheets.Ability to conduct research using various management systems and hard copy historical information.Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with constantly changing priorities.Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.Must be able to maintain confidentiality and to act with discretion.Thorough knowledge of the NYCT policy, practices, procedures, and Subway Operations.Incorporate critical thinking to develop strategies to achieve organizational goals.
