Role Description:
Huitt-Zollars' Fort Worth, TX office has a Senior Electrical Engineer opportunity. The role includes management of an Electrical team consisting of senior, mid-level, and entry-level team members. The successful candidate will also be responsible for working with multi-disciplinary design teams in the completion of studies, development of plans and specifications for a broad range of projects. Included within the standard responsibilities are the completion of designs, analyses, planning and facilities assessments. The successful candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer with at least 10 years of experience in the field of Electrical engineering related to building electrical systems and electrical infrastructure including low and medium-voltage systems.
Candidate must be a licensed P.E., NCEES registered and able to obtain licenses in all 50 States upon request.

Duties:Electrical team project assignments and staffing forecastsDevelop training sessions targeted to the needs of the Electrical teamLead performance management evaluations and goal setting for each Electrical team memberDesign of site and facilities Electrical, interior/exterior lighting and telecommunications systemsDesign of low and medium-voltage Electrical systemsPreparing design documents (e.g. plans and specifications) for Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development and Construction DocumentsProviding construction phase project servicesPerform calculations to support design work (short circuit, voltage drop, building loads, etc.)Participate in Value Engineering exercisesAssist in preparation of project proposals in response to solicitationsPrepare technical reportsSome travel will be involvedExperience in managing or leading MEP-related projects.Key Responsibilities:
