LMI, a private, not for profit research institute is seeking applicants for a position in Northern VA area for a Strategic Communications Specialist. Responsibilities
Provide strategic communication services to communicate Government initiatives and priorities across the office and the Government
Design and delivery of a variety of communications materialsCreate pro-active and responsive solutions to business needs and seizing opportunities for continuous improvement in individual, team, business unit, and organizational processesCoordinate with Program Office leadership to prioritize potential initiatives in the context of strategic drivers, identify and de-conflict cross-initiative schedules and resources as neededDevelop customer-facing and partner-facing collateral and presentations as requiredBuild powerful communications through sound strategy and excellent executionOversee client brand strategy and ensure successful implementation
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in any field; high school, vocational school, or trade school diploma and five (5) years' work experience in a similar field may be substituted for degree requirementMinimum of two (2) years of experience in strategic communications with the ability to research and draft original content for a variety of communication channels and methods.Ability to plan, develop, design and revise corporate websites desired
