office. As a
Senior
Civil
Project Manager
you will be responsible for providing a high level of leadership, mentoring and training for less experienced staff.We're seeking a versatile professional who can drive engineering excellence while also overseeing the growth and operational efficiency of the office. This is a leadership position with potential for an executive leadership role in the company.You will have the opportunity to pursue and support clients across various markets including but not limited to data center, industrial, commercial, residential, mixed-use, multifamily, education, healthcare, science/technology, and government on the local, regional, and national level.Some key duties and responsibilities include:Makes major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff
Plans design work by discipline for all project sizes and assigns duties to staff working on projects
Reviews correspondence prepared by junior staff
Actively participates in quality control of projects
Ensure the utilization of sound engineering/design procedures and monitor that of the team
Help to ensure the team is working efficiently to produce a quality product by providing training and instruction in day-to-day activities of less experienced designers and CAD operators
Key skills and abilities needed for the position are:Technical mastery in all aspects of land development civil engineering, including: roadways and streets, grading, SWM/BMP, erosion and sediment control, storm sewers, sanitation, and water design
Ability to mentor, motivate, and lead others
Ability to perform final quality control check in their area of expertise
Education and experience requirements are:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer license
A minimum of 8 years of qualifying experience
