Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Principal Electrical Engineer with a strong background in RF system design and PCB development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of advanced RF systems and PCB layouts for various applications. This role requires deep technical expertise, leadership abilities, and a passion for innovation in electrical engineering.
This is a 3 month contract to direct hire and offers 2 remote days per week.
Responsibilities:RF System Design:Lead the design and development of RF systems, including antennas, amplifiers, filters, and transceivers.Perform simulations and modeling of RF components to ensure optimal performance.Conduct testing and validation of RF systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.PCB Design and Development:Oversee the design and layout of complex PCBs for RF and mixed-signal applications.Utilize CAD tools for PCB design and ensure proper integration of RF components.Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure successful PCB fabrication and assembly.Project Leadership:Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in the execution of RF and PCB design projects.Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful project completion.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.Technical Innovation:Drive innovation in RF and PCB design methodologies and technologies.Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to incorporate best practices.Identify opportunities for improving design processes and product performance.Collaboration and Communication:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and systems engineering, to ensure cohesive product development.Communicate technical concepts and project status to stakeholders, including senior management and clients.Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and design reviews.
$70 - $85 an hour
