What you'll do

As the Global Benefits Manager for NAMER (U.S. & Canada) as well as for TTD's Global Program, you will be responsible for partnering with key leaders across the business to provide scalable benefits to support the business and the People team. This position will be responsible for driving the overall strategy of researching, designing and managing effective, cost-efficient benefits for the U.S., Canada and for TTD's Global Programs. For the U.S. and Canada, this includes all health and welfare benefits, retirement etc. TTD's global programs include Fertility Benefits, EAP, Financial Wellness, Business Travel Medical and some time off policies for the company. You will be a key member of the Global Benefits team, ensuring an efficient, organized, and high performing team, which delivers a great service to our internal clients. You will liaison and build relationships with the benefits team, employees, managers, legal and the broader Global People Solutions team.

In this role you will:

Responsible for the development, design, execution of the U.S. & Canada Benefits with an eye towards data-driven decisions and continuous improvement. This includes leading the design and communication of the health & welfare plans, retirement plans and governance and execution of plan strategies. Ensure initiatives and programs are designed to enhance the employee experience.Responsible for the vendor management and communication of most global programs. Work collaboratively with other benefits team members to provide seamless program management.Analyze benefit plan utilization, program outcomes and coordinate the annual benefits renewal and negotiation processes and develop recommendations for action that balance market-competitive benefit packages with financial affordability.Recommend new and/or improved benefits plan offerings through market research and detailed financial impact analysis.Responsible for managing vendor partners to ensure vendor performance is aligned with company expectations, and that programs are achieving engagement targets.Plan and implement effective employee communications for benefits and wellness programs, act as liaison with internal communications to ensure alignment. Manages communication efforts and tools for employees to be well informed of their benefits. Also serves as primary contact for employees related to more complex benefits issues.Support all aspects of the annual renewals and lead U.S. Open Enrollment Benefits communication strategy, including maintaining plan documents, summary plan descriptions, communication materials and required legal notices.Build solid partnerships with the regional Benefits Managers in U.S., EMEA/APAC, the broader People Operations team, Legal, Payroll and Finance to manage the administration of all The Trade Desk's Benefits.At times, perform the operations and administration of all benefits. This includes eligibility files, employee inquiries, reporting and billing.Develop and monitor benefits budget for the U.S., Canada and Global programs. Conducts budgeting and financial analysis and monitors high cost claims and ensures estimates, forecasts and calculations of expenditures in benefits for budget planning and tracking.Develop and monitor service level agreements and performance of all service providers and brokers and hold them accountable for performance measures.Partner with Sr. Benefits Operations Mgr. to review current business processes and make recommendations to streamline for efficiency and to support an improved benefits delivery experience.Partner with members of the Global Benefits team to implement new global benefits plans and vendors.Serve as backup support for the Global Benefits team; Special projects as needed.Who you are:

Minimum of 10 years of benefits design and strategy experience in a fast-paced environment.Strong functional expertise in program design and administration of U.S, and Canada benefits in a multi-national companies/organization.Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis to influence decisions and communicate complex work across a variety of audiences.Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to understand and respond to others' perspectives sensitively.Demonstrated ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.Ability to adapt and be resilient to TTD's evolving benefits philosophy and operations through multiple phases of a company's growth.Exceptional data analysis skills with the ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insight.Ability to build strong, ongoing, impactful relationships at all levels and across a diverse range of social backgrounds.Demonstrated change management and communications experience.Strong project management and process improvement skills.The ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with a sense of urgency.Strong communication, collaboration, and consultation skills working with a diverse and dynamic group of stakeholders.A customer service focus with a responsive and "can-do" open-minded attitudeExperience utilizing Workday and JIRA a must.Advanced Excel knowledge and experience.Bachelor's degree

In accordance with NY, CO, CA, and WA law, the range provided is The Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as sales-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is

$102,400-$187,700 USD
