Job Overview

TE Connectivity's Manufacturing/Production Teams transform raw materials into finished goods and ensure component flow. They perform changeovers and setups according to production schedule, perform quality checks according to established processes and document the results as required by our quality procedures. Every team member is responsible for maintaining housekeeping and organization of the work area as well as following TE Connectivity's EH&S policies and procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

All Machine Set-up operator requirementsMust have thorough knowledge of milling and drilling practices, and machine feeds and speeds relative to the working properties of metals and various materials.Read and interpret blueprints, operation sheets to determine tolerance of machining.Must be able to use a wide variety of measurement instruments to check parts to verify compliance to quality specifications. Must be able to read all types of measuring devices and other inspection devices and other inspection tools required to perform operation. Able to perform SPC.Make necessary set-ups, adjustments etc. to tools and machines as required, to perform all functions of machine capabilities. Must be able to edit "M" and "G" codes as required.Maintain proper storage of tooling. Maintain surveillance of operation for dull cutting tools, malfunction of machine etc.Requited to successfully complete education programs relating to any new machining equipment to operate such equipment.Be able to operate in a team environment with work sharing, team problem solving, and team acceptance of responsibility. Train other employees as needed.What your background should look like:

Minor machine operation, misc. machine operation, CNC machine operation.Training requirements:

Must have minimum tools listed: 6" scale, combination square, micrometers, slide calipers, depth micrometer, and feeler gauges.

COMPENSATIONCompetitive base salary commensurate with experience: $49,000 - $50,544 (subject to change dependent on physical location)Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
