Job Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for various warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and shipping used office equipment. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to operate forklifts and other equipment to ensure efficient handling of materials.
Key Responsibilities:
Shrink wrap and push equipment on rollers.
Assemble products as needed.
Receive, stock, and ship used office equipment.
Unload all incoming freight and ensure proper documentation of receipts.
Document relevant inventory and marketing information for all receipts.
Stock inventory in appropriate bin locations.
Assist in conducting physical inventory counts.
Pull and prepare sales orders for shipment.
Build second decks in ocean-going containers.
Maintain cleanliness in the warehouse by sweeping and wiping down surfaces.
Required Qualifications:
Previous warehouse experience.
Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able to stand and walk for 8+ hours daily.
