Description
We are looking for a safety-first, analytical, and experienced electrician to join our team. You'll be assigned a variety of work orders, including fixing, replacing, installing, maintaining, and testing electrical wiring, circuit breakers, transformers, and lighting fixtures in buildings. The ideal candidate is familiar with reading technical schematics and blueprints, has extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring, and has completed all training, apprenticeship, and licensing requirements. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
•Perform service upgrades•Read and interpret electrical plans•Install various electrical components in residential settings•Diagnose and repair electrical problems, including component installation and replacement•Check newly installed electrical components to make sure they work•Perform maintenance and installation of electrical equipment in homes, businesses, and factories•Read and apply electrical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, and wiring diagrams•Run tests on all wiring and electrical components to ensure it's connected
Qualifications
Requirements:
•5+ years of residential electrical experience•Proven ability to manage full electrical installations for entire homes•Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a residential electrical project•Must be able to work in the San Francisco Bay Area, primarily Pacifica, CA
Personal Traits:
•We are looking for someone who is punctual, trustworthy and possesses excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, take pride in delivering excellent work, and understand the importance of staying on schedule.•Degree from electrician school is required•Ability to work in confined spaces, at great heights, and in all types of weather•Ability to speak well and deal effectively with people, including tact and courtesy•Candidate must have successfully completed electrician apprenticeship•Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs
