Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Primary responsibility for optimizing LMS application performance, documenting the operation and support processes and procedures related to the LMS application and environment, investigating and resolving LMS application and Workday LMS environment errors, and communicating with the stakeholders as appropriate.
The LMS Administrator will be expected to collaborate with the HR and HRIS Departmental Leadership, Instructors, and Instructional Support to establish policies, processes, and procedures related to maintenance, update, upgrade, integration, and development of the LMS application and environment.The LMS Administrator will also be expected to work with other HRIS Staff to develop reporting and dashboards and management reportingThis position will work with HRIS and/or third-party services to maintain a secure, highly-available, and fault-tolerant LMS environment.The LMS Administrator, in partnership with the Departmental Leadership, will assist with setting and complying with State and Federal policies and recommendations related to distance learning. The LMS Administrator will work closely with the relevant department heads to enhance the learning environment and engage the learner.Collaborate with departmental managers and subject matter experts to deploy appropriate training as a part of the overall Career Framework and development and succession plans within the organization.Coordinate logistics for remote and in-person training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, material preparation, ordering meals, arranging travel and handling on-site logistics for all L&D events including participant communications and training assessments and follow-up.Maintain accurate records of training activities, attendance, and evaluations using learning management systems (LMS) or other tracking tools.Work alongside the Instructional Designer to develop and curate Learning ContentAbility to manage changes in the Career Framework Handbook as updates are requiredProvide support and guidance to team members participating in training programs, answering questions, and addressing concerns as needed.Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in learning and developmentCollaborate with HR and other departments to support talent development initiatives, onboarding programs, and organizational change effortsPrimary responsibility for deploying all New Hire Orientation Campaigns in Workday & working with HR to ensure that all New Hires L&D campaigns are launched and completed.Willingness to be certified to administer DiSC and deliver training internallyKnowledge & Skills Required:
Exceptional administrative skills including organizing meetings and events; manage calendars and eventsExceptional verbal and written communication skills3-5 years of experience in LMS Administration; Ability to quickly become familiar with e-learning platforms and practices.Capacity to collaborate with stakeholders, including departmental managers and subject matter experts, to assess training needs and develop relevant learning solutions.Strong organizational skills to coordinate training logistics, manage schedules, and communicate effectively with participants.Flexibility and adaptability to accommodate changing priorities, learner needs, and business requirements.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work within the HR Team and a willingness to help wherever neededCommitment to personal and professional development, including staying informed about industry trends and best practices in learning and development.Workday LMS Administration and Configuration Experience highly preferred.MS Suite, including PPT & Excel as well as proficiency in Adobe/PDF editing.
