Pay Rate: $35-$38/hr

Job Overview:We are seeking an experienced and skilled Electrician to join our maintenance team in a high-speed food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and components to ensure optimal production performance. This role requires strict adherence to safety, food safety, and quality standards while working efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical issues in production machinery, conveyor systems, motors, and other equipment.Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.Repair and replace faulty electrical components such as fuses, circuit breakers, relays, switches, and wiring.Ensure all electrical systems comply with regulatory standards, including food safety requirements.Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.Troubleshoot and repair 3-phase components.Connect to and understand PLC ladder logic, making adjustments to the logic as needed.Perform motor troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify defects and complete necessary repairs.Understand and troubleshoot electrical safety circuits to ensure a safe operating environment.Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field preferred.Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification required.Minimum of 5 years of experience as an industrial or maintenance electrician, preferably in a food manufacturing or similar high-speed production environment.Strong experience with PLC troubleshooting, motor controls, and variable frequency drives (VFDs).Familiarity with industrial automation systems and electrical schematics.In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and components.Understanding of food safety regulations, GMPs, and other industry-specific requirements.Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
