Procurement Manager
to join our Project Delivery and?Construction team, coordinating and monitoring procurement and contract administration efforts on assigned procurement projects. This is a hybrid position based out of our Somerset, NJ, Cherry Hill, NJ, or Blue Bell, PA offices.You will schedule, oversee, and direct activities associated with project-related capital procurement and contracts administration of equipment, trade subcontracts, materials, and professional services. Weekly procurement coordination meetings will be conducted with the client(s) and IPS project team(s). You will manage procurement progress and workflow through our project procurement plan (PPP). The team will rely on you to negotiate and manage favorable agreements with subcontractors, suppliers, and professional services providers.Quality, accuracy, and completeness of department work will be ensured along with compliance with established IPS standards and procedures. You will also be involved in the development of departmental policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), tools, templates and work instructions governing the procurement function. More junior members of the procurement team will look to you for mentorship and coaching along with project-specific guidance. Communication is key, as you conduct regular meetings with procurement specialists, project managers and project leaders of all disciplines. You will collaborate with other Procurement Managers to workload level and share resources across the broader organization.Come join a caring, nimble team that delivers world class designs for our pharmaceutical clients and take your career to new heights!Qualifications & Requirements:Bachelors degree with a concentration in Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or Engineering.10+ years of experience in leading and executing procurement on capital design/construction projects in a highly regulated industry environment (pharmaceutical, biotech, nuclear, oil & gas, aviation, etc.), supply chain management, and/or construction administration.5+ years of management responsibility in procurement & contracts.Preferred QualificationsMasters degree or MBA.APICS certification (CSCP or CPSM).CSCP certification.Procore proficiency.Working knowledge of Construction Law as it pertains to capital project contracting.Ability to work with and manage clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in a services-based industry while working within a center-led, regionally-based organization.Effective communication skills particularly in negotiation and conflict resolution.Context & SafetyThis position may require periodic travel to headquarters/regional offices, client sites, and/or subcontractor/supplier sites.Travel (outside of the regional office or remote working location if applicable) is less than 10% and mainly consists of presentations or other project-related meetings with clients or suppliers.The work environment is office-based either in the regional office or at client sites (job trailers and/or client-supplied workstations).You are required to maintain proficiency in OSHA regulations (must complete OSHA 10 training at minimum).You are also required to enroll in and satisfactorily complete all IPS-scheduled training obligations.Training is conducted and monitored through the IPS Learning Management System (online).This position is a safety-sensitive position.
