As part of a small, passionate, and accomplished team of experts, you will be responsible for the effective execution of all assigned facilities maintenance tasks. This includes the efficient and effective completion of work orders with minimal downtime. In order to fulfill these responsibilities in the most effective manner, you will be empowered to make critical decisions under minimal supervision. Applicants must be able to determine and perform effective mitigations in critical and time sensitive environments. Passion for our mission and vision is required Responsibilities: Repair and maintain commercial and industrial plumbing equipment Ability to Install, repair, and replace pipes, valves, potable and non-potable water systems, drainage, waste vents, basins, tubs, faucets, showers, grease traps, lavatories, sinks, traps, flushometers, urinals, drinking fountains, hydrants, water heaters, dishwashers, back flow devices, water pressure, regulators, and other plumbing fixtures and equipment. Maintain, repair, and lubricate sewage equipment, using hand tools and power tools. Maintain sewage lines, tanks, floats, pumps, and valves, using hand tools and power tools. Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings, using screws, bolts, solder, plastic solvent, and caulking. Cut openings in structures to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings. Use measuring instruments, such as a ruler and level to locate and mark pipe position for installation and passage holes in structures. Cut, thread, and bend pipe to required angle, using pipe cutters, pipe threading and pipe bending machines. Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks. Able to read and understand prints. Follow safety practices, and utilize protective clothing and equipment as required by OSHA. Perform other various duties as assigned by supervisor. Generates and responds to emails and work orders via online work order system. Updates work order system once per day regarding progress and/or upon completion of assignment. Able to install and maintain, repair water treatment systems. Including but not limited to reverse osmosis, deionized water, and water softeners. Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial irrigation systems Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; diploma from a certified trade school or college. 10 years of verifiable work experience as a Plumber, with 5 years in water treatment. Ability to meet physical requirements as determined by position. This includes the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds, climb ladders, walk significant distances and work in small spaces. Must be a self-starter who can work safely under high pressure situations Experience in or prior use of Maximo a plus. Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. Ability to operate, monitor, trouble-shoot, and maintain an RO system, including water softening, and DI a plus. Ability to perform maintenance and limited repairs on system components, including RO membrane changes a plus. Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results and data in accordance with company and regulatory requirements Desired: Experience in operation of medium and heavy equipment.
