ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Client Facing Role that manages the overall business relationshipAccount mapping, business unit breakdown (touchpoints to align regional/global team)Run QBRs & ensure they are properly prepared forEnsure each Crane Worldwide office servicing the account understands the warehousing and operational SOPs and executes accordinglyExperience with visual observation of complex warehouse processes, ability to diagnose operational challenges and suggest solutions on the flyUnderstanding of how and why transactional data can impact a warehousing operation, ability to communicate data issues back to a client in clear termsExtracts, manipulates and models transactional data to demonstrate the warehouse's operational successes and opportunities for improvementReport Creation / Monitoring / Distribution (responsible/accountable)Performance management (responsible/accountable)Drives collaborative efforts internally by supporting and sharing best practices in the following key areas:Client ReviewsStrategic Business Plans

Impact & coverage analysis -> identify service or opportunity gaps as they relate to warehousing operationsPenetrate organizational structure and develop relationship beyond main points of contactIdentify opportunities to more accurately apply transactional fees, cost re-captureMonitor account for timely payments and assist with collections on past due or disputed invoicesEnter all meeting notes, action items, complaints, compliments into our CRM and distribute to appropriate people in global networkWhen necessary, travel domestically and internationally to visit accounts/account sites and Crane Worldwide offices to review procedures and maintain customer information/satisfactionValidate that company policies and regulatory requirements are adhered to, where applicableIdentify growth opportunities and develop a strategy to secure additional logistics opportunities with the appropriate internal resourcesCreate a business development plan with short- and long-term business objectives, initiatives, and quantified value-added contributionsOther duties as assignedPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Understanding of warehouse storage concepts, order picking concepts and WMS operation.Understanding of insurance liability and risk as it relates to warehousingFamiliar with warehouse site evaluation, development, and managementProject planningExcellent Organizational SkillsExcellent written and verbal skillsExcellent presentation and interpersonal skillsThorough knowledge of transportation industry logistics and freight forwardingThorough knowledge of successful sales techniquesStrong computer skills including Microsoft Office suiteDetail oriented, able to multitask and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated, able to work in a team and independentlyGood analytical and program management skills; ability to define, develop and document business processes and proceduresStrong customer service, problem-solving, and interpersonal skillsInternal/external sales skillsTroubleshooting and problem resolution skillsLeads by exampleSense of urgencyCreativeResponds easily to changing demandsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
