Our Plant Controller plays a vital role in meeting all pharmacy operational support needs of the corporate Pharmacy Services department. After you complete our training, your responsibilities will include partnering with Manufacturing Operations to manage the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Operational Accounting and Finance activities at the site level.The role is responsible for supporting financial metrics planning and analysis which would help drive the plant's profitability, as well as implementing and maintaining a system of internal controls that will ensure that the company assets are adequately safeguarded and that all financial reporting is prepared in compliance with financial policies.This position will report to the Director of Accounting with a dotted line to the Director of Manufacturing Operations.The role will also work directly with the CFO on various FP&A matters. Turn your passion for precision and your commitment to quality into a meaningful impact on healthcare across the US.What the Plant Controller Does Each Day:Safeguards assets and ensures accurate and timely recording of all transactions by implementing disciplines of internal audits, controls and checks across all departmentsSet ups, maintains, and constantly improves Standard Costing systems and processesDevelop, improve and issue timely monthly financial recordsReports and monitor financial results of Plant operations to corporate finance team and local managementProvides supporting details for management to use in evaluating business activities and making necessary adjustmentsAssists in monthly analysis of the cost of goods and operational expenses against plan and prior year, providing explanations and business solutions to help better drive the business and mitigate risksConducts Rotational Inventory Audit (physical stock count)Assists with plant-wide inventory control and management and perform analysis of variances identified during inventory cycle counts and annual physical inventoryContinuously seeks to optimize resources and provide guidance on data analytics and plant metrics for continuous improvement and best practice in overall cost recognition and control effortsDevelops annual operating budget for all plant departments and ongoing financial forecasts, to include, but not limited to, the effect of volume, head count, and operating efficienciesOur Most Successful Plant Controller:Has excellent communication skills and project management skillsIs proficient with MS Office applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook) and strong knowledge of ERP systems, specifically Infor SytelineIs a dynamic thinker with advanced financial skills to develop and maintain the best of class financial system and processesIs a self-starter with ability to work and lead effectivelyReads, analyzes, and interprets financial reports and legal documentsHas a strong knowledge of Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, sumifs, etc.)Has proven accuracy and thoroughness/monitor own work to ensure quality and accuracyMinimum Requirements for this Role:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required5-7 years of experience as a plant controller or equivalent roleKnowledge of US GAAP is requiredMust be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; QuVa is not able to sponsor applicants for work visasAny of the Following Will Give You an Edge: ERP system experience preferredBenefits of Working at QuVa:Comprehensive health and wellness benefits including medical, dental and vision401k retirement program with company match17 paid days off plus 8 paid holidays per yearNational, industry-leading high growth company with future career advancement opportunitiesAbout QuVa:QuVa is a national, industry-leading provider of pharmacy services, including ready-to-administer sterile outsourcing and advanced AI-generated insights providing clarity for revenue capture and inventory management.
