- Hybrid - On-site presence required depending on the business needs. If applying, you should be local to ATL.The quality manager, reporting directly to the Director of Quality & Performance Excellence, supports interventions through interdepartmental collaboration and planning, multidisciplinary communication, and the implementation/analysis of care delivery processes that impact quality metrics. This position involves overseeing and implementing value-based care initiatives and leading special projects to enhance cancer care delivery's overall effectiveness and efficiency.The core responsibilities of this position will involve monitoring and evaluating the performance of value-based care programs, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement, and optimizing program effectiveness.Candidate MUST HAVE Lean Six Sigma experience.Candidates with Value Based Purchasing experience are HIGHLY PREFERRED.Description:You will:Serve as a resource for education and training regarding quality improvement, accreditation standards, internal process improvements, and external regulatory requirements.Lead and coordinate special projects to address specific challenges or opportunities within cancer care delivery, driving innovation and continuous improvement.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinicians, administrators, and external partners, to drive the successful implementation of value-based and cancer care programs.Serve as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners to facilitate communication, collaboration, and data knowledge sharing related to oncology initiatives.Interpret and present how data impacts hospital finance, accreditation, patient care workflows, and local and national performance benchmarks.
You must also demonstrate the following skills:well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of personnel, both within and beyond the departmentexcellent written communication skills; time management and organizational skillsmust demonstrate the ability to prioritize and accurately complete tasks independently and in a timely manner;proficient in record maintenance and report development;excellent technical skills (computers, MS office software particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint);excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;conflict resolution and negotiating skills;team-building and motivational skills; professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Health Administration, Nursing, Public Health, Business, Informatics, Management Engineering, or other quality-related field)
and
five years of experience supporting healthcare quality programs with a focus on quality assessment and process improvement.Candidates must have experience in Six Sigma or Lean and attain CPHQ within two years of employment.Candidates experienced in developing and leading quality assessment and performance improvement programs in a large and complex acute healthcare environment, ambulatory setting, or cancer center are preferred.This position is specifically for a healthcare setting dealing with cancer care.Epic Certification is preferred.
