HX5 is currently seeking a Manufacturing Senior Engineer to join our ARRW (Future Hypersonic) team at Eglin AFB, Florida.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all program manufacturing planning efforts including Statement of Objectives, Manufacturing Management Program, Manufacturing Readiness Assessments, Supplier Tracking and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis.
Provide technical expertise in proposal technical evaluations.Conduct engineering performance, effectiveness, life cycle cost, producibility, reliability and maintainability, risk and scheduling trade-off studies.
Prepare management reports and conduct technical presentations for planning, implementation and corrective action using application of engineering economy principles.
Perform validation of systems, including development of criteria and procedures.
Conduct engineering reviews, studies, audits, and technical analysis.
Support associated armament program engineering IPTs.
Conduct and evaluate time and engineering cost estimates in support of research, development, test, training and acquisition of armament related systems.
Provide engineering support services and inputs to program and project risk management activities in compliance with AF SEAM processes.
Education and Experience:
Undergraduate engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college.
BS degree and eighteen (18) years of professional experience
Preferences:
Electrical Engineering background
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week and offers a flexible work schedule Monday through Friday during core business hours.
Other Position Requirements:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
Must be able to travel as necessary.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance by date of hire.
