salary: $18 - $22 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 2:30 PMeducation: High School
Responsibilities
Safely operate forklifts in a fast-paced environment to load, unload, and transport materials efficiently throughout the facility.Conduct routine safety inspections on forklifts and other material handling equipment, reporting any mechanical issues promptly to ensure safe operation.Quickly and accurately load and unload trucks, shipping containers, and storage areas while adhering to all safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.Strictly follow safety guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a secure working environment.Track and record inventory movements precisely to support organized, safe, and smooth facility operations.Help organize warehouse spaces to optimize workflow while maintaining a clean, orderly environment in a fast-paced setting.Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet material handling demands efficiently and safely.Prioritize quality standards during all handling tasks to avoid damage to products and support customer satisfaction, especially during high-demand operations.Actively participate in safety training sessions and contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting safer, more efficient handling processes as needed.
The essential functions of this role include:working in a smoke free environmentwearing steel toe shoesworking in a non-temperature controlled environmentmanual lifting up to 50lbs
