Business Analyst (Level III)

This role will provide an associate the opportunity to learn various support services across products, platforms and processes for the business segments noted directly above. Exposure across product and platforms ensures broader coverage and stability for the team as well as a more complete understanding of how the business functions for the associates performing the role.
Existing process include; Trade validation and ongoing trade maintenance and reporting. Requires product knowledge, knowledge of financial instruments accounting relevant to the area supported. Delivers support for new products and initiatives, provides analysis and KPI/MIS reporting. College degree (Bachelors or higher). Required skills include: expert Excel knowledge, financial products knowledge, ability to analyze, reconcile, and interpret large amounts of data, detail orientation, ability to manage multiple priorities and multi task, excellent time management and prioritization skills, with ability to meet tight deadlines, the ability and willingness to continuously learn on the job, technical fluency, with ability to learn new systems quickly, the ability to problem-solve and take ownership of process improvements, the ability to work in a team environment, the ability to adapt to and take ownership of change and excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with various stakeholders. Desired skills & knowledge include: experience using Bloomberg, accounting knowledge, economics, business, mathematics, finance, accounting, or similar major. Desired experience includes Internship experience, have 3 to 4 years of experience in the Financial Services industry, experience in working with financial reports, and the ability to effectively manage difficult internal and external client situations.
Trade Control Associate (1-3 yrs experience) - The successful candidate will work closely with the Corporate Investments and Corporate Treasury trading desks to ensure accurate trade capture, substantiation and reporting. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in enterprise wide trade control initiatives to automate, simplify and improve the team processes. The associate will also perform trade analytics to resolve trade queries and measure and control the day-to-day operating environment. The candidate will be responsible for reconciliations and event monitoring for derivatives as well as supporting FX, interest rate derivatives, and fixed income. In addition to the Front Office, the candidate will work closely with Finance, Back Office, Technology and other support partners.
Requirements•Extensive work with data systems, databases and spreadsheets.•Proficient in SQL and VBA; knowledge of CIDW would be a plus.•Ability to quickly learn new applications and trade capture platforms.•Solid understanding of FX, fixed income, and derivative instruments.•Displays a high level of attention to detail.•Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.•Communicates and partners well with others to accomplish goals.
