Production Lead 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:
Meet required production schedules while promoting safety, quality, and teamwork.Serve as extension of the production supervisor.Communicate Safety Alerts.Provide assistance, training and retraining to new, current, or reassigned employees.Serve as point of contact for new hires; assign a work shadow as required.Ensure operators receive daily operations information, goals, targets, and instructions necessary to achieve production objectives.Make proper adjustments to the process and distribution to correct and prevent quality issues.Identify and modify opportunities on the quality test and results.Send the production shift report and update the communication board.Maintain clean and organized production floor.Investigate and complete safety incident reports.Backfill other leads or team members work activity based on absenteeism.Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent.Fully trained on all aspects of the production line.Willingness and ability to train others.Willingness to be cross trained on other production lines.Strong knowledge of production and warehouse procedures.Must possess basic computer skills.Willingness to work rotating, off-shifts, and overtime.Willingness to work as part of a team or independently as the situation requires.Must be able to read, write and speak English. Perform basic addition and subtraction using a calculator.Ability to lift 50lbs.Ability to stand for 6-hour intervals in a hot work environment (105 degrees in summer).Experience in a production / manufacturing environment.Ability to work in a safe manner.Do you want to work with people who are dedicated to innovation and making the world a better place?
