What You Will Be Doing:
As our Internal Communications Lead, you will be pivotal in keeping our employees engaged and motivated as we build first-of-a-kind fusion energy facilities. You will shape and implement our internal communications strategy, ensuring alignment and consistency across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Communications in our Everett, WA office, you'll have the opportunity to make a tangible impact on our growing team's communication landscape.
You Will:Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy that drives employee results while reinforcing Helion's mission and valuesCoordinate executive communications to ensure uniform messaging across diverse internal channels, including Slack, email, and all-company meetingsProvide ongoing public speaking support to executive team members focused on effective communication in all-company forumsMonitor and assess the effectiveness of internal communication initiatives, offering insights and recommendations for continual improvementSupport all-company communications from multiple internal stakeholder teams, including Executive, Engineering, Information Security & Technology, People, Physical Security, Production, and SafetyRequired Skills:
Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience5+ years proven experience in internal communications, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environmentExperience in developing and executing internal communication plans, including content creation, distribution, and engagement analysisExceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for crafting clear and compelling messages tailored to diverse audiencesStrong interpersonal skills, enabling you to build and nurture relationships across all levels of the organization#LI-Onsite #LI-MM1

We ensure all our roles are competitively benchmarked and our total compensation package includes a base salary, comprehensive benefits, and equity grants, giving you a true stake in Helion's success. Final compensation is determined through a holistic evaluation of your experience, qualifications, and our commitment to maintaining internal equity, ensuring fairness and transparency across our teams.
This is an exempt salaried role.
Annual Base Pay
$106,700-$153,000 USD
