Requirements (Must Have)

Experience in Electrical Design

(Minimum 4-5years experience in Semiconductor manufacturing equipment industry)

Experience in Etch and Surface cleaning equipment will be an added advantage.

Purpose of this role:The electrical engineer must support the design, development, prototype, construction, first-article inspection, and qualification of various electrical subsystems and integrated components. This support may include but is not limited to, the following aspects.

Specific responsibilities & requirements include:AC and DC power distribution units design/modification as per the load side requirements & Cable design for the tools as per IPC standardSelection of cable parts & finding alternates such as connectors, crimp, cables/wires, strain relief, back shell, sleeves,heat shrink, etc.Experience handling different connectors like CPC, Heavy-duty connectors, MNL, D-Sub, BNC, etc.Cable routing planning & module placement in tool & EMO/interlock loops design, implementation in tool & testingDesign of electrical parts, modules, and subsystems to support the design of whole systemsKnowledge of testing and trouble-shooting electrical subsystemsParticipate in tool building, manufacturing, field support, upgrades, installs, and other technical activities to qualify prototype componentsLead the assigned projects regarding first article inspection, conduct reviews with stakeholders, and assess risks and actionsRead, design, create, and change wiring schematics, pinouts, and interconnect diagramsConcept and detailed design using design tools such as OrCADReview and modify service procedures on the tool in response to new components and prototypes. Provide corrective feedback to technical writers and quickly drive implementation of the documentation changes.Experience in the entire process, prototyping, design, testing, documentation, and quality control is also desiredCollaboration with cross-functional teams to review design requirements, implement best design practices, and achieve functional product design solutionWork with mechanical engineers to design and qualify the cable routing, cable attachment, strain relief, etc...Test and qualify power supplies, sensors, custom breakout boards, stepper motors, encoders, power meters, flow meters, and moreConducting analysis such as circuit, timing, thermal/cooling, and electrical loadsParticipate in the entire design/build cycle, including design review presentations and feedback, procurement ofprototype and POR parts, system integration, and prototype testingWorks closely with and manages suppliers to ensure all design requirements are specified and metPreparation of RFQ and supplier/vendor coordinationPreparation of BOM, schematic, and interconnection diagram (ICD)Coordinating clean room (10K & 100K)/Lab activities with different CFT and Compliance testingMinimum Qualifications

Master/Bachelor in electrical engineering or equivalent field with 8+ year experience in electrical interlock and powerdistribution system designExperience in certification/compliance tests related to CE, SEMI, or NFPA 79Experience in the semiconductor equipment industry or medical equipment industry is preferredWorking experience in motion control systems and PLC programming is highly desirablePLC and industrial computer familiarity is a plusExperience in safety and electrical regulatory complianceTools : Siemens S7 1200 PLC, AutoCAD, OrCAD, Creo-ViewerPLM Tool : EnoviaTeam player with good writing and verbal communication skillsThe kind of person we are looking for is
