A leading innovator in control and automation programming is looking for a talented AV Programming Engineer to join their team in Miami, FL! In this role, you ll get to work on some of the most creative and exciting audio/visual/lighting projects out there, from world-famous entertainment venues to cutting-edge media installations. You ll be the go-to technical expert for clients, making sure everything is deployed and programmed just right according to their needs. AV Programming Engineer Requirements:

Experience with advanced control systems programming, especially in environments such as Node-RED, Q-SYS, Medialon, and Alcorn McBrideProficient in scripting languages such as Lua, JavaScript, and Node.JSStrong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to convey technical concepts clearlyExperience with networking management, including VLANs, routing, QoS, IGMP, and PTP (certifications are a plus)Knowledge of Q-SYS audio and control systems (certification preferred)Experience with video and presentation systems, including Pixera, RealMotion, 7th Sense, Disguise, and Touch DesignerFamiliarity with A/V systems, equipment, concepts, and technologiesBasic user interface development skills, including HTML and CSSProficiency with Office365 tools, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and ExcelExperience with NodeRED and related programming workflows is a plusFamiliarity with WireShark for network analysis is preferredA background in software development with an interest in the AV industry is preferredAV Programming Engineer Responsibilities:

Develop and implement control solutions for Audio/Visual/Lighting installations, ensuring they meet project specifications and client needsParticipate in the design, development, commissioning, and support of control and network systemsCreate custom equipment drivers, control methodologies, monitoring dashboards, interfaces, and graphical user interfaces (GUIs)Plan and lead projects, including systems testing, validation procedures, programming, scripting, and documentationStore, retrieve, and analyze data to assess system capabilities and requirementsMonitor and maintain control systems to ensure reliable operation within established performance criteriaProvide training and after-sales technical support to clientsManage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and expectations with minimal supervisionCollaborate closely with team members and clients, sharing details routinely and consistentlyMaintain detailed technical documentation to support system operation and client understandingBenefits:
