Position Summary:
The Account Manager, Partnership Activation will oversee the asset execution of assigned accounts, working cross-functionally throughout the organization to ensure fulfillment and provide exceptional customer service to our clients. In collaboration with the Senior Manager, Partnership Activation, the Account Specialist will also provide activation support on additional assigned accounts and/or activations, which may include, but is not limited to, intellectual property rights, in-stadium signage, in-stadium and in-market promotions, traditional media (TV, print, radio), digital media (online, mobile, social), community programs, retail activation, hospitality, private events, behind-the-velvet ropes experiences, as well as any other assets sold by the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Serve as activation specialist for assigned partnership accounts, working independently and/or with Account Managers to plan, execute, track, and provide reporting on all assigned partners' contractual elementsDevelop relationships with assigned partners through touch point meetings, phone calls, and partner eventsDevelop and manage sales book of business for media portfolio, managing client relationships from initial contact through executionIn collaboration with assigned sales managers/directors, achieve retention targets and goalsPlan various corporate partnership activations, including but not limited to, in-game promotions, events, in-market activations, and partner marketing campaignsAssist with preparing department documents including partner playbooks, mid-season updates, end of season recaps, expense reports, budgets, and contractsServe as an internal liaison and execute processes as assignedUtilize CRM system to track all activity related to partners including deal points, financials, client profiles and client interactionsAssist with event day department responsibilitiesOther duties as assigned by managerRequirement Experience and Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related degree from an accredited college or universityMinimum 3-4 years of similar sponsorship, marketing or agency experienceEssential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Customer service and sales oriented with proven experience building strong client relationshipsPossess integrity as well as a strong sense of morals and ethicsProactive individual with passion for the role and driven for career successWorks well in a team environment and is comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and outside contactsExcellent communication skills including written and verbalAbility to present ideas clearly and conciselyStrong planning and organizing skillsCan prioritize work activities and use time efficientlyDependable and consistently at work on timeFollows instructions and responds to managersAbility to sell incremental programs to existing partnersAdapts to change in the work environment and handles competing demandsDelivers work by or ahead of deadline and thrive within a fast-paced environmentStrong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPointPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Previous agency or in a team experience.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift items weighing as much as 25 poundsMust be able to work in a seated position for majority of workdayMust be able to be productive utilizing a computer keyboard and telephoneMust be able to be productive in a work environment where the noise level can be high at timesSpecific vision abilities include close vision and ability to adjust focusMust be able to walk steps to visit fans during gamesMust be comfortable walking to navigate the facility to access the office, dining room, etc.Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as required by deadlines and event scheduling
