Job Title: AR / Collections AnalystJob DescriptionReporting to the AVP Accounts Receivable Group, the Accounts Receivable Analyst will be part of a team responsible for the collection of direct premiums.Duties and Responsibilities:The collection of direct premiums from brokers and maintaining receivables on a current basis across our various underwriting systems.Follow up on past-due payments.Maintain and update as needed client billing information.Identify collection issues and assist in appropriate resolution.Reconcile daily cash applications.Reconcile and resolve differences in broker accounts.Research and resolve unapplied cash items.Process cancellations for non-payment of premiums.Process cash in the Accounts Receivable application.Special projects as needed.Hard Skills+ Basic understanding of AR / Collections+ Computer Skills - Excel (Pivots / VLOOKUPs)Soft Skills+ Communication - Written / Verbal+ Someone who cares / willingness to learnJob TypeThis is a contract position with a duration of 6 Months, If the candidate works well great chance of going permanent.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Farmington, Connecticut.Work EnvironmentFull Time Onsite in Farmington - Cubicle EnvironmentAbout Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
