Freightliner Northwest's Route Sales Driver is responsible for providing excellent service to our customers by building strong customer relationships and efficient parts delivery fulfilment on a designated delivery route. This position focuses on the safe and efficient delivery of parts, while concentrating on positive customer engagement, issue resolution and growth.

Responsibilities

Essential Job FunctionsEfficient parts delivery to customers on a designated route utilizing a delivery vehicle.Responsible for sales activities that build strong customer relationships on a designated route:

Field order processingIssue resolutionCustomer trainingTransitioning customer to Excelerator orderingManagement of vendor inventory programsGrowth

Proficient use of tools and technology including dispatch systems, tablets, phones, and our customer relationship management tool.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Job Requirements, Education and Experience

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Other:

Must have valid driver's license, be insurable and have a clean driving record.

Skills that are representative of the job:

Ability to drive Sprinter vans, pick-ups. Ability to type and use computer tablet and/or keyboard, send and receive calls and data via a smartphone.

Job Conditions

Physical Demands:

(These physical demands are representative of the physical requirements necessary for an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.) Requires repetitive bending, frequent lifting up to or in excess of 75 lbs., sitting, standing, reaching, crawling, stretching. Must be able to use both hands and feet to operate vehicles.

Environmental Demands:

Mostly indoor and outdoor in seasonal weather conditions. Some noise while working around operation departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. Use of company-provided personal protective equipment may be required.

Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM

Compensation:

(based upon experience) $22.00 to $25.00, plus incentive.
