Carson Tahoe Health is seeking a full-time and experienced Psychiatry nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its Behavioral Health team in Carson City, Nevada. Candidates must have at least two years of experience working directly in psychiatry/mental health. The Behavioral Health department provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient mental health services to adults and aging adults using a multidisciplinary approach. This is an excellent opportunity for those seeking a bit of autonomy as you will have the option to work independently as well as to build up your own patient panel. The BHS inpatient department is a 52-bed unit with 8 geriatric psychiatry beds, 22 adult psychiatry beds and 22 chemical dependency beds.
