ResponsibilitiesImplement accurate safe patient centric anesthetic careCompletes thorough anesthesia apparatus safety check and all monitoring equipment to be used during the delivery of a given anestheticComplete pre-anesthetic assessmentObtain and/or verifies patient consentDiscuss anesthetic options and risks with the patientInduction, maintenance, and emergence form anesthesiaMonitoring of the patient's physiological conditionPerformance of clinical intervention as neededAccurate documentation in the anesthesia recordProtects patient health information in all formsDemonstrate a high standard of moral and ethical behavior, professionalism, compassion, and commitment to patient careContinuously engage in professional development and improve professional competency
Qualifications
Requirements:Possess and maintain a valid American Board certification- AnesthesiologyPossess and maintain a valid and unrestricted state medical license based on requirements of assigned hospital and practice BLS certification, Valid DEA registration and Controlled Substance CertificateProficient with charting in electronic medical records. Currently using EPIC at our sites
