Seeking a Pediatric Associate Program Director, BC/BE Pediatrics to join our Faculty team.
Full-timeThis role includes resident and medical student education, as well as faculty clinic.We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed individual who is inspired to build a strong Pediatric Residency program.50% Clinical / 50% Academic with protected time.Administrative duties as well as scholarly activities will be required including Research and PublishingMD or DOState of Michigan licensed or eligibleBoard-certified in PediatricsThree years of teaching experience (required)Leadership experience (preferred)Controlled Substance licenseMust meet credentialing criteria
The Program Director will spend much of his/her clinical time precepting residents in their combined ambulatory Pediatric Clinic/Hospital based on campus. The Program Director will also engage members of our community-based Pediatric Primary Care/Pediatric Specialist physicians to participate as didactic presenters and preceptors. Finally, the Program Director will be provided a faculty appointment and will lead the effort to attract medical student candidates.
