About the RoleThe full-time Account Manager will focus on developing new relationships as well as maintaining existing relations with corporate and government clients. Through managing our sales cycle the account manager will develop leads, expand our active partner base and help procure the assets needed to impact communities across the US.Please note: This position will be hybrid. Based in one market but covering two markets. Key Role ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership in the day-to-day activities of the sales strategyIdentify leads, develop prospects and bring onboard new business partners75% Outbound Prospecting and 25% Account ManagementMaintain relationships with existing strategic partnersMaintain and develop a strong network of connections with the communityRepresent PCs for People at conferences, conventions, and association meetingsPrepare and deliver sales proposals and presentationsConnect with businesses across the market that can utilize PCs for People's electronic recycling servicesKeep up to date with industry developments and maintain awareness of market conditions and competitionProvide feedback and contribute ideas to growth and expansionAssist in the submission of RFPs, MOUs, SOWs, MSAs, recycling agreements, and security agreementsCold call potential donorsRegular communication with donor before/during/after pick-upMeet with and conduct site visits with donorsLiaison between donor and PCs for PeopleQuarterly check-ins/business review with high-end donorsMaintain donor filesRegular follow-up with previous donorsSell ITAD services and review agreementsComplete partnership agreements as requiredWork with Operations to coordinate pick-upsManage truck calendarProvide detailed pick-up informationBring in and review leadsPoint of contact for all things ITADProvide ITAD receipt and asset listProvide certificate of destructionProvide transfer of ownershipAdditional duties as assigned RequirementsDesired Skills/QualificationsBachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, communication or similar field2+ years of sales or business, sales, account management or relationship development experiencePassion for the craft of selling and relationship buildingCRM experience, specifically hubspotSales FocusedGood spoken and written communication skillsGreat people and presentation skillsProven business development or sales experienceExperience in developing leads and closing new businessEntrepreneurial mindsetDesire to help the community and interest in digital inclusionTechnology or recycling industry knowledge is a plusBenefitsWe are a growing non-profit and expect this position to drive continued growth.
