Job Purpose:To support the Strategic Business Unit and the Manufacturing Cell and apply coursework to real-world applications as a Manufacturing Engineer Intern. Position involves providing ideas, inputs and analysis as a project team member.What You Will Do at Graco Provide general production support for machining and/or assembly areas by participating in hands-on troubleshooting issues and providing technical assistanceAssist in evaluating the need for machine and/or assembly area upgradesParticipate in capital equipment justification as neededReview and analyze standards and operational layouts to suggest improvementsAssist in the selection and implementation of tooling and fixtures for machining and/or assembly jobs Participate in cost of quality improvements, root cause analysis and corrective action React to changing priorities in a timely manner Report man-hour estimatesWhat You Will Bring to Graco Currently enrolled and pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or comparable Engineering programMinimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scaleStrong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to work independently and as an effective team memberMechanical aptitude and desire for hands on workAccelerators Experience with CAD software such as AutoCADExperience with 3D printersProven Quality.
