High Performing Service Department has a rare opportunity for a Service Manager! Service Manager's daily job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing and overseeing the service department and service employeesMonitoring technicians' daily productivity reports and preparing corresponding payroll recordsHiring and training new service personnelForecasting goals and objectives for the department and striving to meet or exceed themMaintaining clean factory and extended warranty schedulesCoordinating with other departmental managers within the companyEnsuring manufacturer and dealership training is upheld inside the entire service departmentManaging customer relations while maintaining satisfactory CSI as per manufacturer guidelinesWorking with vendors to create service promotions and maintain service programsThe most important part of the job is customer service!The ideal candidate should possess:
Experience in the position of service manager or a similar position in the automotive industryStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent interpersonal and customer service skillsCurrent Driver's License with satisfactory DMV driving recordOrganizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities efficiently.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions to improve service operations.Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with dealership management software, inventory management systems, and other relevant computer applications.Financial Acumen: Ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement cost-control measures.Benefits:401(k)
