Nemours is seeking a Finance Manager (Operational Finance), to join our Nemours Children's Health team in Orlando, Florida.

Located in Orlando, Fla., Nemours Children's Hospital is the newest addition to the Nemours integrated healthcare system. Our 130-bed pediatric hospital also features the area's only 24-hour Emergency Department designed just for kids as well as outpatient pediatric clinics including several specialties previously unavailable in the region. A hospital designed by families for families, Nemours Children's Hospital blends the healing power of nature with the latest in healthcare innovation to deliver world-class care to the children of Central Florida and beyond. In keeping with our goal of bringing Nemours care into the communities we serve, we also provide specialty outpatient care in several clinics located throughout the region.

The Finance Manager will develop, implement and monitor the financial models that are utilized to develop the annual budget, quarterly forecast updates, and the Five Year Plan for physician practice and hospital operations. This includes updating volume projections and labor/expense benchmarking, and developing and enhancing models for monthly financial, dashboard and variance reporting and explanations. This requires an in-depth understanding of the financial structure, budgets, and the general ledger for the hospital and physician practices. The position will support strategic growth initiatives with development of financial proformas, critical analyses of related risks/opportunities and presentations to senior leadership. Coordinates with Corporate Finance during GL close and budget process. Supports the Director of Operational Finance in all essential functions.Plans, organizes and directs the annual budget, quarterly forecasting and five year planning processes. Net revenues to exceed $300 million in 2023.Develops financial proformas to evaluate and inform financial impact, risks and course of action on strategic and operational opportunities for growth.Monitors the capital budget expenditures for physician practice and hospital operations.Provides analytical support and consulting services to Directors and physicians to assist with labor planning and revenue management.Provides reporting to hospital and physician leadership to assist in evaluating, interpreting, and recommending changes to improve hospital and physician practice results.Manages and develops financial analysts in support of above objectives.Additional duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee's supervisor.Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree required.5-10 years experience with Finance/Accounting responsibilities required.Healthcare experience preferred.Working knowledge of healthcare accounting and finance concepts, and hospital and physician billing methodologies.Demonstrate competent management, problem solving and technical skills.Excellent relationship development skills.Ability to think creatively to solve problems outside of normal experience.
