Job Summary

The Heavy Equipment Operator will operate a Loader and will be responsible for the proper operation of the loader to perform associated plant duties and general dirt work operations.

Essential Functions

Follow all required company and general safety rules, policies, and guidelinesIncludes but is not limited to operating loaders to move and load various roadway sub-grade materialsPerform general sub-grade operationsThe above-listed duties may require long periods of sitting, walking, and standingThis job summary is intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this position. Required Skills & Experience

At least four years of previous heavy equipment experiencePhysical ability to perform assigned tasksPhysical ability to walk on uneven terrainMust be able to climb the equipment's ladder to reach the operator's seatGeneral operator skillsBasic knowledge of operating LoadersPrevious experience preferred; must be willing to learnOther heavy equipment experience preferred: excavator, backhoe, dozer, etc.Zachry offers an industry-leading benefits package for our employees and their families.
