About the Position
The Field Engineer is part of the project management team that includes the project manager, project coordinator, and superintendent. The Project Engineer's responsibilities are a sub-set of the Project Manager's responsibilities. This role is a step/building block towards becoming a Project Manager or Assistant Project Manager. This person must be willing to be teachable and take direction well with the willingness to take on a variety of tasks. IMCO is hiring for an exciting large treatment plant project, with future work in the region already planned.

Ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) is emphasized throughout all phases of the projectEstablishing a collaborative work environment for the project team membersCommunicate effectively with Subcontractors, Suppliers, design partners, and owners.Demonstrate effective internal working relationships with company management, administration staff, and craft managementParticipate in meetings with clients, contractors, and internal staff.Preparing written communications and reports.Assisting with controlling the project's cost and schedule by ensuring that effective project controls are in placeAssist with pre-construction job set-up and planningReceive, review, forward, and track the status of submittals and RFIsMaintain project recordsCompensation and Benefits
Compensation: $75,000- $80,000 anticipated annual salary. Salary is determined by level of experience.Medical, vision, and dental insurance coverage available on the first day of the month following 60 days of employment.401(k) match on eligible wages and available for eligible employees on the first of the month following 60 days of employment.100% contribution matching up to 4% of the employee-eligible wages.Paid time off.Paid holidays.Relocation will not be offered.Location & commitments
Project Location - IMCO has several projects in Washington. The project location will be determined with input from the candidate.Requirements and Qualifications
Field Engineer - A minimum of 1 industry-related internship.Bachelor's degree in business, construction management, engineering, or another technical field from an accredited university.Ability to foster collaborative relationships within IMCO and with clients and partnersExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-effective manner.Strong technical knowledge and awareness of details to be able to recognize when technical problems are developing and implement effective solutions.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience with and able to navigate Microsoft Office Programs: Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams.Experience with and ability to navigate traditional Computer file/folder structure.Experience with or ability to learn multiple Construction programs including HCSS Programs and Bluebeam.Experience in the construction field is recommended.Pre-employment drug testing required.Criminal background check required.
