Position: Manufacturing Engineer Employee Type: Full-Time (1st Shift) This position is designed for experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer with 5-7 years of experience. This individual should possess technical experience in the design, development and familiarity with customers such: PW, GE and Sikorsky. This candidate should be capable of proposing new technology and/or program directions in support of business unit objectives. Knowledge and extensive experience with Engineering Source Approval a must. Responsibilities:The Manufacturing Process Engineer will optimize and document all aspects of manufacturing processes by identifying improvement opportunities and applying simpler, faster, cost effective and reliable methodsEvaluate new and existing processes to ensure quality and safety of the jobCreate and maintain detailed manufacturing and process instructions for complex parts and processes. Create and maintain travelers and work instructions for new parts and assemblies as well as modifications to existing productsExpertise in BlueprintsAttention to details, strong work ethic and positive attitude, good communication and self-disciplinedIdentify new equipment, tool designs, and processes to improve consistency, accuracy, and cycle times.
